We are currently serving Red Deer and surrounding small towns through local pick-up and delivery only. As a growing handmade business, we're taking this approach to ensure every order is handled with care and intention.
I Want to Make a Purchase, What Now?
We're proud to offer meaningful, handcrafted gifts to our local community in a more personal way. While our website showcases our creations, it currently functions as a portfolio- not an online store. Here's how to place and order:
Our Purchasing Process
1. Browse our collections of gift bundles, paint pours, macrame, woodworking, and The Secret Shelves- wrapped reads for book lovers.
2. Message us directly using the website's chat button in the bottom corner, the form below if you wish to offer more information in your request, or feel free to email us at artists@craftyhearts-gifts.com or DM us on social media. In your message include: your name and preferred contact, the item(s) you'd like to purchase, and if you are wanting to pick-up from us or have us drop off to you.
3. After we have received your initial request, we will establish the drop-off/pick-up location, as well as date and time for the exchange. Please allow us a minimum of 24 hours to prepare your order, however we will do last-minute requests for a small additional fee! (Talking to you, forgetful dad's/husbands :))
4. Pay at Pick-up or Delivery via cash, debit, or credit using our secure SQUARE device that will provide you with an electronic receipt.

All Gift Bundles Are Completely Unique
We can customize one or more elements of an existing premade bundle, an entire bundle, or singular items. All items listed in your bundle will be included as described (e.g. face masks, diffuser, essential oils). However, variations in scent, style, color, or potentially brand name may occur depending on availability (e.g. lavender instead of peppermint oil, or a grey diffuser in a different shape). We always ensure every item is thoughtfully chosen and equal in quality.

See the section above for a detailed description of our purchasing process* But the quick answer is that you message us with your order, we will arrange a pick-up or drop-off time and place, then you pay at the time of exchange through cash, debit or credit using our secure SQUARE device or E-Transfer if you prefer.
Some! Some items from our collections are able to be bought out of a basket bundle. Other items are unique and specialized for that specific bundle and cannot be sold separately. Simply inquire using our chat service, email, or DM.
We offer gifts for countless occasions and milestones- we can provide:
- Bridesmaids Boxes- ask your girl friends the big question, "will you be my bridesmaid?" in a timeless, sentimental way.
- Wedding Gifts- Bundles that congratulate the new Mr. and Mrs.
- Baby Shower- A little girl, boy or a neutral box themed bundle for the celebration.
- Care Packages- For sick days, postpartum moms, hospital care package.
- Birthdays- Let us customize a bundle that wishes a warm happy birthday!
- Anniversary- To celebrate your love, relationship, and time with each other.
Our pre-made bundles are always in stock, but anything outside of those listed themes like the milestones above, need to be customized and require 24 Hours to be produced.
Yes, you can include additional items in your gift basket for an additional cost. Please contact us to customize your order.
The Hands behind the Hearts-
Meet Val- The Artist
Val, a retired Registered Nurse, is the mom in the mother-daughter duo behind The Crafty Hearts. She has always been artistic- drawing, painting, crafting- it all came easy to her and over the years she has gravitated to many art forms. There truly isn't much she cannot do! From hand painted pet memorials, planning entire weddings with handmaking EVERYTHING, to macrame and paint pours, Val is the talented artist behind most of the items you see here!
Meet Emma- The Designer
Emma, a legal student with a knack for digital design is the builder behind the online presence and content for The Crafty Hearts. The most distinct positive memories Emma has as a child came from crafting with Val- it's how they bonded, expressed their emotions together, often having the most honest and raw conversations over paintbrushes and clay models. Now, watching Val create these beautiful pieces in her retirement, inspiration hit for The Crafty Hearts. Along the journey of combining Val's artisan products and Emma's digital/photography skills, the two found their way back to crafting together. Emma even added her own collection to the family's brand,-wrapped mystery novels- which you can check out in the Secret Shelf tab!
